I am in love with Game of Thrones. It started with "OOHH PRETTY SHOW!" and now I care about everyone (except Lannisters)! This will end bad, I know ;__;

I can't be happier on the TV front. This year has been really good so far.

Oh except Camelot. I can't seem to be interested in anyone over there. Everyone is either completely clueless, crazy or cruel. I don't like. I'll watch the latest episode and if that doesn't do it for me I'm out for good.

My work load is lighter! Hooray! I haven't done ANYTHING today and actually got away with it! REJOICE! :D

Got a haircut 2 weeks ago, but I'm too lazy to make it pretty every morning. I'm starting to regret that decision, but keeping it short gives me so much extra time during showers so I'll just shut up and go with the flow.

Everyone's catching a cold lately. I'm still in the safe zone, but afraid it won't last long. We're having really weird weather out here. It's rainy, cold, warm, humid, freezing, windy at the same time. I'm not even kidding. It's strange. It was really cold this morning so I said "what the hell!" and wore my turtleneck and the it suddenly got really hot and I was walking around with a black turtleneck like a stupid person. It's time to switch to "cardigans over t-shirts" phase.

Life's pretty boring in general. I'm planning or arranging a little get together with a couple of friends from college, but I'm too lazy to call people up and learn their schedules. I always end up making the plans and suffering from the consequences later, so I'm waiting for them to arrange stuff, but let's be honest, it'll never happen. *le sigh*

What should I watch now? I'm done with the 1st season of Shameless. Loved it towards the end. Looking forward to the new season next year. Also downloaded The Crimson Petal and The White just for Romola Garai. Is it any good?

I really want a Game of Thrones mood theme. I shall go back to my Legend of the Seeker set until someone decides to make a GoT one.

The short story is; most of my LJ people, including me, are now spending more time on Tumblr instead of LJ and it makes us sad. Tumblr is practical and requires less effort to follow/contribute, but it doesn't have the human touch like LJ. Followers don't necessarily mean "friends" and I agree. Although I have couple of people I really love on Tumblr, I have very little "friends" on there. And most of those loved ones are already my friends on LJ, so no point to Tumblr on that base, really :))

Yes, I am pledging to spend more time on LJ from now on. Maybe even update everyday! Tumblr is still a lot fun and visually attractive, but LJ is my diary.

ON A COMPLETELY UNRELATED NOTE; I'm really excited about this week's How I Met Your Mother! I've heard so many good things about it (non-spoilery of course) and I can't wait to see it.

I'm still studying for my certificate exam. It's tomorrow at 2pm, I still have time to completely memorize 157 ~~questions~~ answers. Questions will be identical so I'm focusing on the right answer and relying on my adequate photographic memory. 90 questions and I need to do 75% to pass. I can do it. I hope...

Drop Dead Diva is an American comedy-drama/fantasy television series that debuted on Lifetime on July 12, 2009.

The series revolves around vapid blonde and aspiring model, Deb Dobkins (played by Brooke D'Orsay in the pilot and in flashbacks), who is killed in a car crash. As her soul enters the gates of Heaven, she finds herself declared a self-centered "zero" (meaning she has performed zero good deeds and zero bad deeds during her time on earth; she is simply shallow) by the gatekeeper Fred. After not liking what she hears, she presses for a return to her former body, hoping to get back to Earth. Deb gets her wish, only to be brought back to life in the body of a recently deceased, intelligent, overweight lawyer named Jane Bingum.

This show needs a lot more love. Seriously. It's a mix of Ally McBeal and Dead Like Me. Characters are awesome, fun and the way Brooke Elliott portrays Jane!Deb is simply amazing. I'm enjoying it and it's definitely one of the good ones for summer. Highly recommended.

But now I have to go and watch Friends with my brother. The complete series DVD box arrived today so we are determined to watch those episode for the 958694548th time, but with commentary :D ♥

- Mika's live performance was truly EPIC. His stage was so colorful, so full of action and fun! And his live singing was identical to his stuido recording. He has an amazing range... It was the very first time I wanted to be on stage with the performer and have *THAT MUCH FUN*! (Plus, he is the cutest.)

- And he spoke Turkish so well, I think every single person in the audience fell in love with him at that moment. He actually made full sentences with 100% accurate pronunciation. I've never seen any foreign artist do that well with our language!

- I've spent the whole day with my beloved friends:

gokche ♥ (plus my brother and her girlfriend were there, awesome family event is awesome.) We walked around, ate, drank, laughed our asses of, etc. etc. So much fun, it was insane.

- My feet are killing me though. My legs are all sore, but it's okay. I'm happy, I really needed this.

- I also got Merlin Series 1 DVD from

glenien! She ordered 2 for herself by accident, I now have the other one ♥ Even my dad was glad to see them, I didn't know he loved Merlin that much LOL!

- I was planning on going to the pool today, but I'm too lazy to "get ready" for that activity. I hate being a girl sometimes.

- I'm planning on having breakfast then chill and write some. There'll be nobody in the house after 3pm so noone to bother me ~~

- That's it! I wish all of you could have been there! :D

ETA: And apparently Turkey got 2nd place in Eurovision! W000T! Go MaNga!

1. I miss old Jennifer Lopez songs. Si Ya Se Acabo is just one of them. Her Spanish songs are much better than the English ones.

2. I found out about a huge mistake I've done in a project. It seems that I've completely messed the up the whole logging thing so the client side couldn't generate some very important info on the reports. I was so shocked to see that I actually made a mistake that big! I thought about lying and blaming the whole system about the issues, but then I ended up telling Anna (nickname for the system anaylist woman) the truth. Well of course she was suprised, but guess it's not a HUGE deal. Damn. I can't believe I messed it up. You should see it, it's such a small mistake.
For the ones who understand programming terms: I forgot to put a delimiter character in the string, so the logging algorithm couldn't parse it, hence no log for that action whatsoever.
Woe is me.

3. I guess it was the impact of my mistake at work, but I had an extremely stressful dream last night. I saw myself getting into a car accident and the car I was driving was a police car. Cops took me to the station and they told me if I don't want to go to jail I have to quit my job!
Oh god I remember being so sad and hopeless, I tried to explain to the cops how important this job is for me, how close the office is and how good I was at this job. I simply begged them to let me get away with the accident. (On the other hand

glenien was in the same car with me during the accident and I saw her getting arrested and wearing a white jump suit.)
I suggested that I can quit my job for an hour and then they could take me back, but I somehow couldn't find a way to discuss this with my boss. Just when I thought I really had to quit my job my alarm went off and I literally told myself that it was a dream.
It was the first time I wanted to go to work this badly! I guess I was too afraid that I would be scolded for the mistake I've made. (Nope, they didn't do anything about it. Anna told the client that it was a system error.)

4. Friday is the labor day and it's a holiday ~~ I'm planning on writing lots and lots of Arela ♥

5. Now that it's lunch time I can go back and watch the remaining of the Friends episode! It's the 5th season finale and oh my god it is so funny, I couldn't watch it in the morning because I simply couldn't hold back my laughter. Wait for me guys, I'm coming! *runs to Las Vegas*

I was really okay and quite normal about the fact that 2nd season of Friends was happening in 1995 until Chandler opened up his brand new laptop and went on and on about its features including:

12 MB RAM and 500 MB hard drive

For people who is not good with those terms:

Today's computers have at least 1 GB of RAM (which is 1000 MB) and 100 GB of hard drive (which is 100000 MB).

Oh god, this show is ooooooooollllddd and awesome! ♥

- I have absolutely nothing to do at the moment and I'm pretty sure some kind of work is lurking behind my back, but I'll try to ignore it as much as I can.

- I went to my eye doctor today. Even though she told me that our next appointment will be 3 months later, I couldn't help but got one for today :) (It's mostly because all the check ups before 30 days are free!)
The sight in my right eye has improved 30% since last week, so that's good news. I'll officially stop obsessing about it. It's just dryness.

- My college gang apparently had an email spree yesterday. I saw it today when I opened my office outlook. They seem to be having a very good time, LOL!

We were only 6 people in our department and we're fairly close to each other. *dramatic pause* Everybody's telling one another that they want to meet, talk, go to somewhere someday but since half of us in the US and the other half is in Istanbul, Izmir and Romania, the meeting plans are a bit too unrealistic at the moment :P

The one in Romania is now in istanbul for a week (I would have never known if I hadn't asked btw), therefore I invited him for lunch sometime during the week. We'll see how it turns out. It's been a veeerrryy long time since I last saw him.

- Everybody's feeling extra crappy today, I really don't know why. I only hate my hair and puffy eyes, other than that it's A-OK for me.

- The work that's been lurking behind my back has finally found its way into my schedule for today. Gotta go and be a good worker now.

ETA: It's lunch break now and I'm so happy I brought Friends to watch in my iPod! ♥ !!!

I really want to start watching Lost (the new season, not from scratch haha!) and I need you guys to give me 3 things about this season that can make me watch it asap! I just hate not being able to read all the Lost related stuff you're posting!

On the other hand, I started watching Friends, I'll continue with 1x04 tonight aww ♥ I was so sleepy last night so I had to cut it short, but I just love those guys! Pure, simple and good hearted comedy.

And my brother told me this about Friends series finale:

"It was the best something, anything I have ever watched in my life. You can just skip eating or sleeping, just watch that and you're fine. Seriously."
