I was really okay and quite normal about the fact that 2nd season of Friends was happening in 1995 until Chandler opened up his brand new laptop and went on and on about its features including:

12 MB RAM and 500 MB hard drive

For people who is not good with those terms:

Today's computers have at least 1 GB of RAM (which is 1000 MB) and 100 GB of hard drive (which is 100000 MB).

Oh god, this show is ooooooooollllddd and awesome! ♥

I knowww! Technology is so cruel! I mean, I'm watching this from my iPod, who know awhat will happen in 10 years?! My kids will be laughing at my tiny iPod and showing off their 3D hologram TV's or something LOL!

Can that BE any more useless? Sorry I had to. :D But omg what the heck would you even be able to do with so little RAM and HD space. Make pictures in Paint? And anytime you wanted to save more than like two you'd have to delete some.

I watched a Buffy episode today and Willow was going on about her 9 gig hard drive. And I think my 8 gig ipod is too small! :)

=))) 9 gig is pretty good for that time! I used to havea 35 gig HD and I was going crazy and it was only 4-5 years ago..
technology is evil and strategically designed to make you feel old.

Yeah, I used to have a 30 gig one, and I filled it up, SO fast! Now I have something like 200 gigs, if you count up everything.

So far that's enough, but I'm sure I'll use it up before long! :)

I have a 250 gig one right now and I constantly have to transfer stuff to my external HD (which is 500 gig and almost filled up) so that I can have enough space to download more TV shows LOL!
I have way too much stuff on my computer. and we have boxes of DVDs, still not enough space!

I'm getting better at making myself delete TV shows! Though my TiVo is getting pretty full . . . I need more space for TV shows, all around! :)

i wish they could make those files smaller! I keep all my tv shows and movies and archive them season by season! Do I watch them later? No. But I just can't delete them! it feels like I downloaded them myself byte by byte! *is crazy*

I'm so glad I don't follow shows on TV because I would buy a DVR in a hearbeat! (I was thinking about buying one when I was in new york and I didn't even have a TV! I was going to but the whole set...)
