I had nothing better to do, and my mind was constantly on about what will happen in season 3, so I just sat down and finished it all! (with lots of skipping...)

Now that it's all over, my life can go back to normal. I should stop obsessing over TV shows.

Skins season 2

Well, this one was a lot darker than the first one. Wow... I'm a bit confused at the moment and I speak with a British accent inside my head.
( I've always loved you the best, Sid. )
I thought I was going to be sad after this season ended because I would want more from the first generation, but I'm done, really. Bring on the second generation, because Effy is effing awesome!

What is Skins?
Jun. 12th, 2009 02:54 pmJust because I don't want to work today, I'll make a Skins intro post. It will be extremely biased and consist 90% of Sid/Cassie goodness, but still it's worth to take a look.
I was a total stranger before I started watching this (as you might remember from my previous "I want to watch Skins but wth is that about? entry) but as it went on it won me over :)

This picspam can be spoilerish at times, but just so you know there aren't any "OMG! WHY DID YOU TELL ME THAT!?" moments in season one, except a part of the season 1 finale which I won't reveal, therefore I'll feel free to spoil you on the insights of the relationships. I promise I'll leave some stuff to watch, but there are a total of 9 episodes in season 1, so not much to talk without giving away some stuff.

Is there any Sid/Effy fics around? They would be so amazing!
For now I'll go and hunt for Sid/Cassie fics of course! And when a fandom makes me want to read fanfiction, that fandom is a good fandom. The exact same thing happened to me when I watched Death Note. I think it's about how much they explain and show to the audience and how much they leave it for the imagination. The more for imagination, the better it gets! ♥
ETA: Oh oh oh! I've just read a tiny drabble for Sid/Cassie and this sentence exactly explained why I love and understand them so much!
Sid knew that she could be any number of things, but mostly he knew that she was something he wouldn't have to share.
Isn't it so true?! aw! ♥

Jun. 9th, 2009 08:51 pmI just watched 2 episodes of Skins and I looooooooovee Cassie ♥ I want to hug her and tell her everything's going to be okay. Make her eat, laugh with her, talk to her, be her friend awww ♥ She's just too adorable :X
She's such an original, pure hearted, a little troubled, but truly loveable character :)

I'm gonna start watching Skins. How many of you watched it or heard about it? I know katayla was watching it (and that's how I kept the name of the show in the back of my mind), but don't know if more of you are out there...
I'll be keeping an eye on Effy since she's pretty much the only name I've heard in random posts and places. What more can I expect from this show?
