I'm so conflicted about last night's finale. On one hand, yay! I love Jeff and Annie and it was exciting to see their insane chemistry played out on screen.
On the other hand, I feel like the writers are moving it way too fast. It just felt kind of rushed. Idk idk. I have a feeling it won't stick. Because I mean Britta and Slater are still inside waiting for him. I just feel like nothing was really resolved. And maybe next season will open and Jeff and Annie will be in "That was a huge mistake. Let's pretend it never happened. There's a huge age difference" mode. I'd be ok with that because then the attraction between them could still be there in the background, but the writers could get the Jeff/Britta out of their system and Annie could grow up more.
Also, the Britta/Slater storyline was kind of horrific. I hate story lines where they pit women against each other, fighting over a man. Plus it just made it seems like neither woman cared about Jeff and it was all about one up-ing the other woman. Uuuugh. It was gross.
But the Troy and Abed storyline was nice. lol. I love the Troy figured out why it would be a bad idea for him to move in with Abed using a giant cookie as a metaphor.
I absolutely agree with everything you said :) I don't want Annie/Jeff to be this long-term THING, but I really wanted him to kiss Annie after the Britta/Slater disaster. I hate that cat-fight mode as well >=/ I wish they were more original...
TROY & ABED ARE ALWAYSSS ALWAYS AWESOME! LOL I wonder what Pierce will make Troy do since he mentioned a uniform!
