Gleeeeeee!

You guys, watch Glee! ♥ It's been sitting in my computer for days and last night, after watching the uberly disgusting MTV Movie awards, I just opened it and had so much fun :D

For those of you who don't know what it's about:

First of all it's a musical comedy! Mr. Schuester is this idealistic teacher who takes over the glee club in a high school, but he doesn't have enough members, so after auditions and as you can imagine, we end up with the geekiest and the most eccentric 5 students.

It's all about music, dancing and entertainment! The performance of Amy Winehouse's Rehab was amazing btw! You should all watch the pilot and let me know what you think! (Pay attention to the background music in the locker scene where Rachel and Finn are talking, it's the acapella version of Beethoven's Moonligh Sonata ♥)

I know [livejournal.com profile] torigates is already a "gleek", is there anyone I don't know?

It's simply love ♥

And as for the MTV Movie Awards, i think it was the most obnoxious one so far. Bruno's ass landing on Eminem's face? Dude, why the hell? I was truly afraid that Eminem would stand up and kill everyone with the gun he had hidden somewhere.

I hated:

1. Zac Efron's hair
2. Rob Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and the whole hype with Twilight
3. The fact that Kristen and Rob never kissed after receiving the best kiss award. It wasn't cool, it was just frustrating. (You know how to look baked, but can't kiss on TV? Give me a break)
4. The use of words: fuck, shit, bitch, ass almost in every sentence
5. The way they presented the generation award to Ben Stiller. It was highly degrading, what the hell they were thinking?
6. Zac Efron's hair. Seriously.
7. The uncomfortable look on everyone's face throughout the whole thing.
8. WTF award.
9. Everything about Twilight. (I can't believe how the cast and the fandom made me hate the concept of Edward/Bella.)
10. Kristen Stewart playing with her hair and acting like she is so high from smoking pot all the time

I slightly liked:

0. Opening sequence (especially the barfing Edward bit! Only a man dipped in shit could actually justify that expression in the movie! Kudos!)
1. Cameron Diaz dancing =)) She's awesome (but unfortunately very old.)
2. Forest Whitaker performing "Dick in a Box" with the huge orchestra!
3. The fake New Moon clip =))
4. Jacob in the real New Moon clip
5. Jim Carrey's acceptance speech (The good looking kid from Twilight and prop. 8 thing was really good and almost tasteful as oppose to the general ambiance of the show)
6. Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds (until they screamed the names of Rob and Kristen)
7. The end where they had to cut Twilighters speech very awkwardly! Yay for strict show time!

End of MTV rant, thanks. I'll stick to the other prestigious movie awards from now on.

I wish this thing was around when I was in New York. It would have made me think twice before moving back to Turkey. (Well, not really, but you know what I mean...)

This site publishes your books for very reasonable prices. I'm looking forward to the time when they start shipping to Turkey... *sigh*

From JustJared;

Summer Glau To Star In ‘Dollhouse’

According to EW, sounds like the 27-year-old actress might reunite with Firefly director Joss Whedon for his current show Dollhouse.

“If anybody thinks (bringing Summer onto Dollhouse) hasn’t occurred to me already then they have not met me,” Joss says. “I mentioned it to her before (SCC) was canceled. I was like, ‘You know, we should get you in the ‘house.’ But first we have to come up with something that works.”

“Summer would be perfect to play an active, but she’s done that a lot,” he says. “I’d rather see her play someone who talks too much. The most fun I have is when I get somebody who’s good and comfortable at doing something, and then I make them do something else. Summer said to me, ‘I would like to play a normal girl before I die of extreme old age.’”

It would be amazing! ♥ I'd rather want her to be an actual person too. She can always be a hunter! (I just made it up) A hunter can track down fugitive actives and bring them back to the house and stuff ~~ *calls Joss to talk about this new turn of events*

ETA: And one more thing:
Freddie Prinze Jr. Joins Cast Of ‘24′

Freddie Prinze Jr. is joining the cast of the Fox series 24 as a regular, playing Davis Cole, a recently returned Marine who runs CTU Field Ops (via THR).

The 33-year-old actor will start shooting in New York City soon, where the upcoming eighth season has already started production. Earlier this year, it was reported that Anil Kapoor (Slumdog Millionaire) will be playing a Middle East leader and Chris Diamantopoulos will take on the role of the president’s new chief of staff.

This project is perfect for Prinze as his pregnant wife Sarah Michelle Gellar is also in town to shoot her new pilot, The Wonderful Maladys.

Yay! Actual roles for my two favourite people!
