Very fun meme stolen from [livejournal.com profile] anyothergirl415
These are the rules (and no cheating!):

1. You can ONLY answer 'Yes' or 'No'.

2. You are NOT ALLOWED to explain ANYTHING unless someone messages or comments you and asks—and, believe me, the temptation to explain some of these will be overwhelming. Nothing is exactly as it seems.

I really had so much fun today! I wasn't expecting it!

My training started today and I was so depressed and anxious in the morning, you should have seen me. I literally didn't know what to do until 13:30 or so. I kept going back and forth between projects, tried to solve some very trivial problems in the system and so on...

Then I had my lunch, ate my fruits and head to the training center. It was only 2 o'clock and thinking about listening to lots of crap about Java Programming for 6 hours sounded so awful. (dude come on, I didn't have 6 hours of class in one day back in college -- well not in my junior and senior year at least --)

I really liked the place. The last place I had a training outside my company was in Manhattan and the place was like a coop (don't know if this is the right word. I meant the obnoxiously tiny place where chickens live). But this one was very nice, I mean VERY VERY NICE, with wide white rooms, smiley nice people and pretty good computers.

As usual I was the very first one who arrived so I waited a good 15 minutes before other people showed up. I read the class notes and stuff *nerds*

We were all from the same company, same floor but different project groups. I was the ugly duckling because I'm from e-business and the others are from Card Services. But I'd rather hang out with them instead of hanging out with ANYONE from e-business. My group is just too dull. So it was really good change for me.

I know this girl, D. from the Card Services group and she is so nice, so pretty, I wanted to be friends with her for a long time. (I'm like that. I kind of watch a person for a while before I get the perfect chance to actually meet and be friends with him/her.) Luckily we sat side by side in the class and I helped her with the coding and stuff. She's just so nice and close to my age (2 years older than me), smiling all the time and CAN ACTUALLY TALK as oppose to MF (yay he's gone!) and my junior boss.

It turned out that there were 2-3 more people from my university. They're pretty older than me, but it was nice to see other people who had the same experience like me. (Technically it's not the same since none of them had the chance to go to Binghamton Uni. at the same time, but you know what I mean)

All in all, I understood every little thing and had real fun! Two years of working in the field paid at last! I was quick and smart with the coding, although those were only the basic stuff I used to have no brain power when it came to programming in college, but now I actually understand and the codes I wrote made perfect sense, with all the indentation and conventions and stuff! Yay!

I took a cab back home, the company reimburses us so it was no problem at all. I might as well take a tour around the city and make the company pay for it, but i'm not that kind of an employee....and I was dead tired.

So this is my technical day from beginning to end. I don't know if any of you are interested in this stuff, but trust me, when you start having fun doing something related to your job, it's the best feeling in the world! ♥

And this is the second time (I think) I used joy and work tags together, which is always a good thing! :D
