It's been such a long time since I had this much fun watching a Merlin episode! :D I actually, literally laughed out loud several times! Everything about this episode was right in every single way! This is what Merlin is supposed to be!

First of all, Arthur saving Merlin's ass = love in the form of awesome canon, so yeah, it's AWESOME.

The obnoxious loving look in Uther's eyes was priceless! XD Also the terrified look on Morgana's face (D:) after seeing the troll = ultimate win!

I have to admit I wasn't weirded out by Arthur/Gwen. Maybe if I forget all the fast forwarding to the eternal love stuff from the previous episodes, I can actually like the innocent interaction between those two :)

Ah Merlin, you made me happy after a very long weekend and a tough & cold day's of work!

i loved this ep, i just wish uther wasn't always either a bastard or a fool. It would be nice to have him have some real storylines, but then maybe it's cos i find ASH loveable not matter what

I don't know why the writers aren't giving more screen time for Morgana. Is it because she's TOO DAMN PRETTY they worry she'll break our screens?

I love the way they did her hair in this episode. Every time I see her it's like... an explosion of shiny prettyness.
