Vacation is over, thank god!

I have never been so happy to be back at work! It's now official: I hate pointless vacations. My productivy level was -98439347 and my mood was constantly down and I was almost always restless!
We originally planned on spending 3 days in İzmir with my grandparents but we got so bored, we left early. Which left me 4 days of pointless vacation.
The only thing I got from my grandparents visit was my hamster! ♥ and the emotional satisfaction I got from making my old peeps happy by visiting them after 4 years.
After that it was a total mess, at least for me. I literally cannot live without a certain routine and it was all upside down for those 4 days. I didn't have work so I just sat in front of my computer and tried to get some writing done. I was alone at the house and there were absolutely no distractions at all, but still I couldn't write anything until Saturday night, Sunday morning which are my usual writing days.
Vacation meant absolutely nothing to me. I won't be taking any unless I have a solid getaway plan with my friends (family vacations are a no no! Road trip was fun, but other than that, NO NO!).
I watched a hell lot of TV shows though. It was almost inhuman.
accidentally on purpose: It was fun! I like Jenna Elfman and Jon Foster, so I had fun and I'll continue watching it!
glee: I've read lots of good stuff for this episode on various websites, but it wasn't as epic as the 1st or 2nd episodes. Lots of character development, but I want more songs! Football team dance and Kurt's father being okay with his son's sexuality were amazing though :))
bones: Fun, as usual. I'm just so happy that Canada airs it on Wednesdays!
the beautiful life: It's cancelled, so I'll take it off my list and to be honest, instead of watching it I played with my hamster. It was background noise mostly...
cougar town: Me likey! Sometimes a little too over the top, but Courtney Cox is awesome, I'll keep watching it and I'm so shipping her with the divorced neighbor :D
eastwick: A different version of Charmed. I like the ladies, don't care too much about the plot and it's full of cliches and very VERY bad writing, but still, if they don't cancel it I can keep watching it. Lindsay Price and Jaime Ray Newman are so pretty to pass up!
the vampire diaries: It's getting better! Damon is just so yummy! Also Nina Dobrev is just so cute and beautiful. Okay, yeah, I admit, I still watch it because the show is beautiful.
the office: W0000ttt! Co-managers! I'm just so happy for Jim! Dwight's scream was epic though =)) and Michael, omg, colonoscopy question = UTTER MOST INAPPROPRIATE THING IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!
flash forward: The last scene with the moving man in the video left me speechless and gave me goosebumps! I hope people will love the show, I want to see more!
grey's anatomy: Don't care much about George's death. RL problems of the cast totally overshadowed everything for the season premiere. I'm mostly curious about what will happen to Mark & Lexie. And the merger? It was truly a very bastard move from the chief. Just so he can keep his title... Don't know...
community: Fun times! Easy laughing material. I believe it's a lot funnier when I watch it with my brother. Quality sibling time show.
project runway: HOW AWESOME WAS CHRISTOPHER'S DRESS!? ♥ Also Epperson's denim dress and leather belt was epic. Seriously. I love it. I'm really sorry that Ra'mon was the one who got cut. I don't like Nicolas at all, but his dress was really well done. But dude, he talks too much, grr! Haha also Carol Hannah's comment on Logan's hotness was just love! ♥ Logan is just yummy, although his design wasn't very good this week.
dollhouse: MORE SIERRA/VICTOR OR ADELLE/VICTOR PLEASE! And Senator Wesley! =)) I refuse to know his character's name. He is Wesley and he should meet Whiskey asap!
merlin: Worst episode ever. Actually the whole season is pretty bad so far. Arthur's Season 1 character development is absent. I'm convinced that the writers are having some kind of amnesia. Why do everyone hate Merlin? And Gwen/Arthur? Give me a break. I know the legend and all, but this is just too soon.
Tonight Brothers & Sisters and tomorrow new Lie to Me! Excited!
I'm so thankful that I got my old routine back, I miss my desk, my phone, my pens, my 8 Ball, the computer humming in the office, artificial air, bad cafeteria food, everything!

Date: 2009-09-28 10:46 am (UTC)And you know what, I've always hated the story of a prince (or any noble person, celebrity, or whatever) complainin about how everybody treats him differently and trying to pose as a normal person to get the respect he deserves. It's just so Disney to me, I can't accept it as an adult. You're an effing prince, accept it and move on. AND DON'T USE MERLIN AS A STEP TO GET ON YOUR HORSE, THANK YOU.
