You can perfectly skip this if you don't know what Ivy League Novels are all about, and instead of trying to understand what I'm saying, you can go ahead and find the novels and read them! :D ♥
Okay, first of all I haven't finished it yet, let me take a look at where I left it 3 minutes ago. Okay yes, Jamie and Amy are having a romantic dinner in that classy restaurant and Jamie has just dropped the bomb!
Before I express my feelings over Jamie's news let's go back to the beginning and slowly come to the point...
My book arrived last Friday and I've been reading it mostly when I'm not working, in the office, listening to Chopin.
- Michelle's storyline is pretty much blah at this point because you know, it's the last book in the series and I cannot care less about a new character's horror story with her boyfriend as long as it doesn't effect one of the Diggers in any way.
Yeah she briefly flirted with Jamie back in the day and yeah, she is cool and getting along with Amy very well, but what's the point really? We'll see if we have something, but for now, Michelle who?
- Diana did a very well job turning "Poe" to "Jamie" because when I was readin Rites of Spring Break the name Jamie was truly weird and annoying, but now I think Poe is strange so kudos, Diana.
But the effect of Jamie's full name on my heart is amazing. James Orcutt. Thanks. James >>>>>>>> Jamie >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Poe.
- Amy/Jamie sex? Yummy. It was kind of weird reading it at work because I had to keep myself from shouting "OMG YES!". Keeping the robes on? oh yeah x 234603854857
- I still hate the idea of having Lord Voldemort in that house. That snake freaks me out.
- I was really afraid that Amy was going to develop some kind of strange jealousy and interest over George, but then she said the L-word to Jamie. BUT now that Jamie's telling me that he'll be GONE, I'm afraid Amy will have a devastating one night stand with George and screw everything. I'm thinking the worst, I know it won't happen. It won't, will it? No.
- I don't care about the other diggers much. They're nice.
- Darren Gehry. As long as he doesn't kill someone by the end of this book, he's boring as well.
- I was this close to going "okay, it's boring" over Amy/Jamie "I don't know you enough! Too many secrets!" stuff, but then I remembered how traumatic the senior year at college can be and apologized to the book. Amy's dealing with too many stuff at once, SO THIS BRINGS ME BACK TO THE MAIN PROBLEM AT HAND!
- IS JAMIE ACTUALLY LEAVING?! NO! I MEAN YEAH, HIM BEING A SPY IS AWESOME! (Cornelia, you must have screamed in joy once they began dropping names like CIA and NCS and stuff =)) BUT STILL! NO! WE LOVE YOU JAMIE, DON'T GO! D:
- The one thing I truly love about this book is the decision making between a boyfriend and life. I've always thought it was stupid to plan your life according to your boyfriend, but since I've never had a serious relatinship it was easy to say. Now I'm putting myself in Amy's shoes AND IT IS HARD, BECAUSE I WANT JAMIE TO STAY! D:
I have an hour to go until I leave the office so I'll go back to my reading. I just... IDK. OH JAMIE...
