Skins season 2 is over!

Well, this one was a lot darker than the first one. Wow... I'm a bit confused at the moment and I speak with a British accent inside my head.

First of all, like everything in this show, deaths were extremely fast!!

First Sid's dad, then Chris! (I really don't know why but everytime I want to say something about Chris, I almost call him George. Wtf.)

I was really dazed after the first 5-6 episodes, because of all those wrong and wicked pairings, lies, hatred. Season 1 was so light, so young and all of a sudden they grew up and started dealing with all sorts of serious and deep problems.

Oh dear, I was almost smashing my laptop on the wall when Sid and Michelle hooked up at the beach! But at the same time I just knew they had nobody but each other, but still! Michelle was meant to be with Tony, and you know, SID WITH CASSIE!

Although I wish everything could have been easier, I really liked the character development. Especially with Tony and Cassie.

To be honest, I skipped so much during certain episodes, especially in Tony's episode (which I thought was a lot like a dream sequence), but generally his progress was impressive. His relationship with his sister Effy was so lovely, so honest and special. There is now a definition in my head for Stonem Siblings :)) ♥

And with Cassie. GOSH! I WANTED TO SLAP HER! But during her A level exam, the thing she said to the teacher made me think (and forgive her). She said she had so much power when she stopped eating and everybody was doing what she said. Now that she is back to normal (almost!), nothing but shit happens everyday. So so true.

The only person who didn't change so much was Sid and I think it was for the best. Deep down he always saw Michelle as his friend, Tony as his almost brother and Cassie as the love of his life. But our stupid boy didn't know how to show it. I'm so glad he went to NY to search for Cassie (no matter how cheesy that NY storyline was)!! ♥

I thought I was going to be sad after this season ended because I would want more from the first generation, but I'm done, really. Bring on the second generation, because Effy is effing awesome!

I haaaated Cassie during series 2. She was just crazy and not in the adorable way she was in series 1. And while I liked Sid and Cassie together in series 1, idk, I think that in series 2 their relationship was just toxic, so I'm really glad they left things open ended. The only time I liked Cassie in series 2 was her relationship with Chris.

Speaking of which, I really loved Jal and Chris. SO SAD. Jal was great during the funeral. Also great was Sid and Tony stealing Chris's coffin. hahaha.

My main complain about series 2 though is that it seemed like Maxxie and Anwar were barely in it. (Anwar especially). :(

I truly agree with this one. I was really this close to abandon all my love for them. Now I can write a whole different story for them in my head :))

Jal and Chris was so right, so awesome and they were the only thing that made me cry in this show! :(

You are completely right about Max and Anwar. I was really disappointed as well. Their friendship was one of my favourite things in series 1, but at least they went to London together ♥

I also hated Sketch (it was Sketch right?) What purpose did she serve for god's sake!?
