facebook scares me.

Everytime I check what's going on in facebook I end up being suprised up to the point where I question my own life.

My elementary school bff is pregnant. We used to play dolls and eat snacks in their house and now she is pregnant. Oh life...

ETA: I officially hate facebook. It makes me depressed.

bunun üzerine gittim aşağıdan buffy dvdlerimi aldım, geldim şimdi onları izlicem yatana kadar.. klasik 2-3 bölüm takar giderim. canım çekti. I MISSED MY CHILDHOOD SOMEHOW.

I think Facebook is just one giant black hole of despair. You know you shouldn't approach, but as soon as you get near enough it sucks you in and burns away your will to live.

I sometimes just want to delete it, but once in a while I get messages from people that I really want to keep in touch with and I end up using it..

but other than that I really don't get the sudden obsession over it. well, I'm almost obsessed with LJ, but you write here, you know..

I don't even know if I want another person in my life at this point. Do you sometimes think it's too much work to have a boyfriend (let alone a significant other) ? I just can't imagine myself spending half of my time with another stranger, well technically he won't be a stranger, but you know.. that time is my time. I'd rather write my book instead of going out with someone.. oh my god, I am such a geek. the ultimate geek.

YES. That's actually a HUGE part of the reason I don't want a boyfriend right now. I mean, when I get home, I kind of just want to veg, you know?

And I'm not ready to give up my TV shows and books for a guy. I know that would sound lame to a lot of people, but . . . I don't want to be with a guy and thinking, "But I have to see what happened on my shows tonight!"

YES YES! I've had lots of boy-friends, friend friends, and they were never as 'lame' as me and I just couldn't picture any of those people as my boyfriend. I think we should wait until we find someone who can be as lame as us! =))

We shouldn't sacrifice simple pleasures in our life just to be with one guy. Maybe it's easy to say this because I've never been actually in love with someone. I was always this selfish =))

YES. I've never been in love either, and it IS because I'm selfish that way. I'm not ready to open myself up that way. Or maybe I just haven't met the right guy.

Careful with the lame like us, guys, though. There was a guy last summer who had a crush on me, and you'd THINK he'd have been right for me--he was obsessed with TV, loved cats--but . . . it was just wasn't there for me. I liked talking to him, but I wasn't attracted to him.

I guess I just ask for too much! :)

watching too much TV, reading too much fiction and writing WAY TOO MANY perfect relationships have turned me into a perfectionist, selfish girl who doesn't like half of the guys she meets, because they always have something going wrong with them.

why isn't there a Booth for everyone? Hmm?
