Doctor & Howl's Moving Castle
Dec. 28th, 2010 09:17 amHello everyone! Hope you had awesome Christmases. I hear people got all sorts of lovely gifts, JEALOUS! Still waiting for the New Year's eve for my gifts. HOPEFULLY I'LL GET SOME. (Even though I bought absolutely nothing for anyone. I know, I suck. I'll make it up during the year... Hopefully)
Watched Doctor Who Christmas Special and Howl's Moving Castle last night. Yeah, I'm watching DW now :)) I only watched the first and last episode of last season, but I'm gonna start watching regularly next season. Matt Smith is just too good to miss.
I'm quite late (like 6 years) to the buzz about Howl's Moving Castle, but guys, it was A-MA-ZING. I laughed, cried, sighed, jumped on bed even! Apparently I have a thing for young, beautiful (and a tad bit feminine) wizard guys AND 90 YEAR OLD WOMEN. My god... =)) If you haven't seen it until now (aka made of fail like I am) watch it! If I know my f-list, you'll all love it.
AND THE SOUNDTRACK! Oh the soundtrack... ~~ Downloaded it last night, but didn't have a chance to listen to it, will do tonight and tomorrow and the rest of my life probably.
Planning to watch Spirited Away tonight. Hayao Miyazaki is da man and Joe Hisaishi is his OTP.
Someone on Amazon.co.uk said; "Joe Hisaishi has worked with Hayao Miyazaki for most of this cult director's award winning animations. It's almost like a John Williams-Steven Spielberg or Danny Elfman-Tim Burton partnership." 100% accurate.

Next week looks like a Christmas special. I don't know how much more exciting they can get with the season finale, but whatever. Is that even the season finale? Do we have more than 13 episodes? Do we even have a season 4 coming up? Oh man, I know nothing and I'll be so disappointed if they stop here.

Lazy Tuesday!

awakencordy, Harry/Draco, and spent my whole morning working on that while people were discussing more important matters right next to me. Yeah people, you work and I write slash! THAT'S LIFE!
This week is slowly becoming one of the best I've had this year. Yesterday, although it was a Monday, was AMAZING. I was productive, happy, grateful for my job, friends, family, etc. Today is no different. Weather is nice and warm (apparently Winter forgot about us this year) and I wrote slash at work. What more can I possibly ask for at this point? Nothing, I know!
We're doing an inner circle not-so-secret-santa for this year. Mainly withglenien and awakencordy. The fic I wrote was especially for that, ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
leymsanta is where we keep our fangirly wish lists and corresponding gifts. If we can actually manage to provide everything we promised each other, this Christmas + New Year's will be the BEST.
Cherry on top: I saw the cutest cat today. She was in front of a market and I petted her, then she just laid on her back and wanted to be petted more, but I had to leave D: Such tragedy. I wanted to take her home. We also have a black kitten in our company's front yard, he's such a player! Running around playing with people who are out for a smoke, eating quality cat food every morning, sleeping at the most comfortable spots in the garden, etc. LUCKY STRAY CAT IS LUCKY.
I have no intention of doing anything remotely work related, just going to hang out and go home. Awesome! You know, unless someone asks me to do something. I may have to do something then... Where is my boss? *looks around* Yup, there he is.

Friday Night Lights

I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS SHOW.
Literally. My heart skips a beat just before I press play. Every.single.time. Everything about it is just so perfect. Seriously guys, this show shouldn't be missed. I wish I had more friends watching this show so I could share the excitement/love/sadness of the last season.
On the other hand I'm really glad it's such a low key TV show, because all the characters are 100% real for me. Kyle Chandler is and will forever be Coach Taylor, Connie Britton will be Tami Taylor and all the others... That's what I love the most about it. I've never heard any drama behind the scenes, nothing, just pure awesome acting and storytelling. It's like I'm watching 45 minutes of "real life".

awakencordy just told me she'll check it out during the winter hiatus! YAY! Whenever someone says they're going to watch FNL (and in this case it's my bff, omg yes!) it automatically brings out tiny little hearts in my eyes ♥
This show... Oh this show is just good. Really, honestly, 100% good. I am going to buy the whole 5 seasons box set when it comes out, plus the companion book. I must own them.
ETA: Hastings was the douchey quarterback in True Blood! The one who drove Jason crazy! LOL! And his real name is Grey Damon. Can his name be any hotter? Maybe if it was "I Am Sex", yeah...
