I was commenting on fauxkaren's entry and decided to make my comment into a reaction post.



I wanted to slap Edith really hard when she asked about her freaking dress! GURRRL! CARSON IS DYING OVER THERE, YOU SNOB LITTLE BITCH! >:|

MARY/MATTHEW! THEY WILL BE THE DEATH OF ME, but I have to admit Ser Jorah Sir Richard's proposal was really good. He knows what he wants and I honestly think they can be a good *team* with Mary. Except of course he is in newspaper business and probably have no conscience which is what will probably drive Mary away from him.


Yes, he also needs to poop.

Sybil and Branson is just not going to work and it will break my heart, but Downton Abbey is too good to just make them into a silly lovestruck couple. Sybil is too ambitious for that.

O'BRIEN! She was amazing! She scolds Ethel at every chance she gets, yet shows so much compassion and understanding for the new guy and Thomas. Also she's the best when it comes to bending Cora to her own will.

YOU GO O'BRIEN! YOU WIN AT LIFE.



And I cried with Thomas ;_; I was expecting more from the blind guy plot, but Downton Abbey knows no mercy!

I'll start watching Upstairs Downstairs (new version, not the ancient one) once Downton Abbey goes on a break, mostly because I don't want to stay away from the environment too much and Alex Kingston will join the show in series 2.

YES. I mean, Mary/Matthew forever, so I don't think it's meant to be, but you can really see how it COULD work.

Oooh, maybe I'll watch Upstairs Downstairs with you. Could help me not miss Downton as much!

YES YES WE SHOULD WATCH IT TOGETHER! I've read that it's not as good as Downton, but still, 1930s, servants, big house, drama, etc. etc.

Yeah, i've heard that, too, but WHATEVER! I need more period pieces! More people need to get on this trend!
