Ugh. I think the worst thing is that it's clearly something the writers did not plan from the beginning of the show, or else all the season 1 scenes wouldn't have happened. It's like they pulled out of their butts just so that A/G could be SUPER EXTRA SPECIAL ONLY OTP of the show, ya know? Removing any possible love story or conflict that Arthur could have had. Ugh.
It's not fair D: I hate it when writers push the audience towards something they want and try to close all other doors, kill all other alternatives. TV shouldn't be that way :(

Zırhına yardım ettiği bölüm, sonra partide kırmızı elbiseyle gelince Arthur'un ağzı açık baktığı zamanlar vesaire... O vibe'ı verdiler verdiler, sonra bir anda kapattılar. Yoksa efsanede elbette bunlar kardeş, ama önce bir "Merlin acaba efsaneyi değiştirecek mi, ne kadar güzel olur!" heyecanına girdikten sonra bir anda, hiç beklenmedik bir zamanda çaaağt diye suratımıza vurulunca afalladık :))) Morgana'nın Uther'ı öldürmek için böylesi bir motivasyona ihtiyacı yoktu bence, o yüzden gereksiz gördüm.

Evet agzi acik birakarak sanki aralarinda birseyler olabilirmis havasi verdiler ama hemen ardindan gene agiz dalasina girdiler ben de o zaman bu ikisini ship yapmazlar diye dusundum tabii acik kapi da biraktilar başta, ship yapanlara izletmek için stratejiydi bence

I'm confused, the legend always had her being Arthur's half-sister. I'm fairly sure the writers have been planning this for a while, it's all part of the original myth.
The reason I am this much disappointed is because Merlin was never necessarily progressing according to the legend. I don't know, there were so many different non-legend stuff going on already, it wasn't 100% canon and it seemed like the writers didn't care.
I wish the "Morgana being Arthur's half sister part" was left out, it would have worked that way as well, but they didn't left it out and it's sad. Not logical maybe, but still. Fandom is made for shipping and I love it when writers know fandom good enough to let some things slide. Like Morgana being only the ward, but not the actual daughter of the king.
I always considered Merlin to be "different" than the other Arthurian legend shows, but apparently it's not that different and we're moving on.
