ITA about the Sawyer/Juliet connection. There was no chemistry or build up of relationship between the character. I mean, Josh Holloway (the actor who plays Sawyer) is selling it with everything he's got which is the only reason that I feel anything about that storyline. I'm so glad that the writer's kind of signaled the end of that with the throwing away for the engagement ring. Now we just have to deal with surly Sawyer and hopefully then we can move on from all of that.
The problem I have with Jack is that he is a complete asshole who thinks he's God's gift to mankind. I don't mind if characters are asses. I can love and adore assholes. BUT I HATE THE UTTER LACK OF SELF AWARENESS. Jack is a controlling bastard who stalked his ex-wife, tried to control Kate when they were engaged off island and has the biggest hero complex, but yet he can't see any of this.
And I do think the universes will start bleeding together. But I don't know if Sawyer and Juliet will end up together in the sideways universe. I mean... why would they if their characters resemble who they were circa season 1. Sawyer was a con man who hated himself and therefore made other people hate him too. Juliet was a researcher who was focused on healing her sister. But she was a capable and fairly confident woman. Unless she falls for one of Sawyer's cons, what the hell is she going to see in him?
