Because it's fun, colorful, sincere and bright! It's a mix of Dead Like Me and Ally McBeal. Jane is smart, and thanks to Deb who now owns the body, she is confident and funny! Grayson is the *perfect* guy. Stacy is the silly blonde and also the amazing BFF. Fred... Oh Fred the guardian angel just makes you want to hug him. Kim Kaswell is the badass bitchy lawyer with a heart. Parker is the most suave boss you've ever seen. There is dream squences where Judge Paula Abdul makes you swear on a pile of fashion magazines and there is Rosie O'Donnell as Judge Madeline who likes to play hardcore scrabble with Jane. Maybe it's too much, but this show came really close to filling that huge void Ally McBeal left in my mind and heart. Enough said. Give it a try. One of the best summer shows on TV.
