I'm doing it again. I'm reading about writing, instead of actually writing. But it's okay, because I've written almost 10k in a week, which is pretty awesome in regard to my latest lack of inspiration!
So my point is, even though I've never read anything by Timothy Hallinan, he is kind of my hero now. His ideas and suggestions about writing--not only writing, but finishing your novel--are absolutely delightful.
I know and practice not all, but most of them, but the important thing here is: while I'm reading what he write about writing I have this sense of approval for my own writing style :) It's been a long time since I felt this way, so all of my writer friends, check out this page:
