I was in ontd, reading the post about Paranormal Activity and I read the detailed summary of the movie from one of the comments AND GUYS, DO NOT SEE THAT MOVIE PLEASE! THANKS.

I used to love freakish suspense movies when I was a kid, but lately I freak out so easily and honestly I don't even know why I read the summary, but I just couldn't stop! I'll probably forget about it in a couple of hours, but for future reference, do.not.ever.watch.that.movie. Or read about it, if you're easily scared.

I'm probably making a big deal out of it right now, which scares me more, but seriously, I don't know how my brain finds that stupid interest in scary stuff. I forced myself to close the page because my eyes kept reading the comments! Some people have serious problems because they actually wrote like a half-page long scary ghost stories (which I didn't read, thank god.). Wtf!?

I officially stop watching/reading scary stuff. I'm too old, my heart is too weak and my imagination is way too strong. I will think about butterflies and pink unicorns flying around like angels... *hums a happy tune*

... I just remembered writing almost a hundred pages long scary fic myself. I still don't know how I did that.

I saw Paranormal Activity on Saturday and I've been sleeping with my tv on since. I... it's like it digs into your subconscious, and I can't erase it.

Just try to think of all those people going to the premiere and posing for the cameras and how fake all that stuff is. (I'm trying to do that myself and I didn't even see the movie.)

I gotta say I do wanna see it because everything I've heard even people saying like you just show scary it is and yes I am easily scared but now you got more even more so scared im not sure I would watch it with a load of people most likey if were to come here but then I want to be able to sleep after and everyone saying how scared they are to sleep.

don't do it. seriously, it's not worth it. and it's not really about seeing it, but thinking about it afterwards. I wouldn't mind it if it was something like Saw, but this is more like The Ring where you don't get a conclusion and wonder what could happen next.

So yeah, don't watch it. go watch time traveler's wife LOL! ♥

I'm not ashamed to say that I too avoid scary movies and TV shows. The only reason Supernatural hasn't appealed to me despite everyone's raves is because I know it's scary. And I dropped Lost because my heart couldn't take all that either. Honestly, I don't get why people call fear entertainment.

I used to get easily scared when I was younger. I couldn't watch Ghost Hunters before going to bed because I would be up the rest of the night. Haha! Now I'm not so scared of things. Except clowns and dolls. Those things are creepy!
