Let's talk TV

thelakeI had a really nice lunch with my mom and even played some Wii in a store :)) Mom practically had no idea what Wii was all about and kept asking questions to the sales guy, but since the sales guy had some mental problems (or at least I thought so) he kept refering to the Wii machine as "the console" and confused my mom even more! And mom didn't want me to cut in because she wanted to ask questions. Funny lady...
Then we moved to the iPhone section... (Mom asked me what I would want for my bday and I told her a Wii or an iPhone, so yeah, the reason for all this Q&A) Mom thinks iPhone is a term we use for all kinds of touch screen phones. I told her, "No, mom. It's not, it's a brand." Mom was still confused... The iPhone model they had didn't even have 3G so I just looked at the price and go "Yeah, sure." 1,625 TL for a single phone that looks pretty? Thanks but no thanks.
They also had iPod touch for 600+ TL and I wished so badly to be back in NY so that I could buy one for $199 (it's roughly 350 TL), but I am not in NY and I don't have that kind of money. I'm so glad I bought my Nano last year. I don't know what I would do without it.
We were supposed to talk TV, right? Yeah, let's do that...
Gossip Girl
- Bad hair all around. Boys, girls, kids, random people... Even Serena's hair was bad. I don't even want to mention Jenny. No and no.
- Blair/Chuck relationship kinks? I'm not suprised and expecting more from them in the future. Still I admit, they were more interesting when they were apart.
- Nate? I can't believe how pointless his character is. And the girl from Privileged is cute. But still, what.is.the.point? (Aside from Chace Crawford being painfully attractive.)
- Dan, why did you lose that much weight?! His face looks like a skull! D:
- Vanessa annoys me. Seriously. Who gave you the right to *crash* a party and blame Dan for not staying with you? Go on and take a bow Vanessa, because you're annoying.
- Scott is creepy and too dark haired to be the son of Rufus and Lily.
- Carter and Serena? It's just too weird to see Sebastian and Leighton together on screen, but not together.. You know what I mean. And then Carter kissing Serena and having sex in the middle of...trees? Yup. *nods*
- Serena'a attention seeking acts of "bithcyness" is going to get old really fast. I liked her when she was trying to be "the good girl." Blair pulls of bitchyness, but when it comes to Serena, it's just...cheap. Her photos on the horse were quite nice though.
- Serena again. Blake Lively's boobs irritate me. They're too perfect. I hate saggy boobs, but hers are really too perfect.
- I don't know. It'll take me a while to get used to the GG world again. Last season premiere was the best, this one was just cheap. I'll continue watching it, because you know, guilty pleasure and such, but I hope they tidy things up a bit more in the future episodes. I feel all over the place right now.
Greek
- Throughout the episode I kept thinking if I'm brave enough to attend an undie-run. I am definitely not. I think 48975487 times before I even put on a bikini, I don't know what I would do if I was in a sorority and had to attend that kind of a run.
- There were way too many popular movie references, I felt like the episode was kind of a parody! But "we need guns, lots of guns." part was HILARIOUS! :D You gotta love Cappie!
- I almost fell from my chair when Cappie jumped in from the window! =)))))))))))))))))
- Guardian Cappie and Guardian Rebecca is really hot. I hate them for dangling past couples in front of my face! Elevator buddies Evan and Casey is another story! Damn!
- Evan got a haircut! ♥ Rebecca is too cheerful when she is around Evan, I don't like it. She should tune that down a little bit. Okay we got that you'll sooner or later end up together but try to be subtle about it!
- Where was Dale?
- The Mr. and Mrs. Smith scene between Jordan and Rusty was really fun. I knew Jordan would win. YAY FOR NAKED GIRL POWER!
- BEAVEEEERRR! MY LOVE! HE IS ALWAYS AND FOREVER SPECTACULAR! Like a tall, well-built teddy bear :D
MTV VMA 2009
- Kanye West is a total douchebag.
- Beyonce has turned into an exceptional lady! I wasn't really interested in her latest album, but oh boy, she is very nice ♥
- Oh Taylor, poor little girl! She had her moment though, I'm happy :D
- I seriously don't understand the fuss with Russell Brand. I haven't seen him anywhere else than VMAs and Forgetting Sarah Marshall. He is obnoxious.
- LADY GAGA!!! SHE IS WEIRD. SHE IS CRAZY. SHE IS AWESOME!. And I loved how she took off that weird (but strangely beautiful) red lace mask out of her face during her speech, 1000000 points to Lady Gaga!
- I only watched Taylor Swift's and Gaga's performances. Didn't even see Muse because I wanted to listen to the actual song before I hear it live. I skipped all kinds of nonsense, it was too long! 2+ hours, ugh.
- Michael Jackson tribute ♥ brought me to tears. He will be the only person who will make people tear up to up beat songs like Thriller or Bad or Beat it or Billy Jean.......
- Also, Kanye West is a douchebag.
NEW GLEE TONIGHT! (Tomorrow for me.) AND NEW BONES TOMORROW! (Friday for me.)
Ugh, I won't be able to watch Merlin's S2 premiere because I'll be away!

edit: Taylor Swift's song is pretty catchy and cute! I've never listened to it before, but I can't get it out of my mind now! I feel like jumping on my bed and sing along with her while jumping up and down (and eventually falling down.).

Tonight, I was listening to the radio on my way home. “Heartless” by Kanye West came on, a few seconds into the song, the DJ stopped it and said “just kidding!” and proceeded to play “You Belong with Me” by Taylor Swift. This made my whole day. MLIA
