vacation is cancelled

So the tradition is still intact: I made an awesome plan to spend 10 days with my bffs and was all happy about it and it is now cancelled. Last minute developments on glenien's family side (not happy news) so we're not going. I just cancelled my plane reservations and also sent an email to the HR department telling them that I'm not going anywhere after all.

I'm sad, but not mad. I was expecting it, the timing just wasn't right.

Well, this means I'll be able to attend to the slayerfest at whedonland *consolation*

we're imprinted to do so! it's not our fault! the contract clearly states that we should go and participate in all contests until we maintain a high status amongst all other teams. you're stuck with us for at least 5 years.
