I just really think Kirk and Spock's friendship developing from omg-I-hate-u enemies to omg-I-fucking-want-to-marry-you-in-your-pants soulmates needs more attention than could be given to them in a series of movies. While a TV series would definitely have enough time to devote to doing their relationship justice. And I just prefer serial semi-procedurals like this because the alien threat concept works better when repeated through several episodes instead of just one big alien threat plot in one movie. Does that make sense? No. I just should just stick to talking about the slash. D:
