THANK GOD I FINALLY WATCHED IT! Today was total torture for me! Avoiding crowded places on internet is HARD!

Okay, here we go... This is not going to be long, I'll talk more about it tomorrow at work (since I'll have nothing better to do and 9 hours to kill)



I'll nitpick first, praise next...

- So the alterna verse was their heaven.
LOL FOREVER!
Lamest lame that have ever been lame on the face of lame universe of island shows.

- So there was practically a Lara Croft crypt down the waterfall, then there was a stone bottle stopper--OH WAIT! STOPPER! BOTTLE! I GOT IT!

...

Still, lame. I imagine that stone pool as a metaphor for Lindelof and Cuse's combined ass and light shines out of it. When you remove the stopper... You know... I don't need to go with the ass analogy anymore.

- Why the hell did they spare us from seeing KATE DEAD!? I love her, but DUDE, COME ON! THE ONLY MISSING PART FROM THIS FANSERVICE!FINALE WAS DEAD KATE! AND YOU COULD HAVE FUCKING BLEW UP THE PLANE FOR ALL I CARE! IT WOULD BE AN AWESOME SEND OFF FOR HER!

Here comes the praise...

- I CRIED MY EYES OUT DURING ALL THE ~REMEMBERING SCENES! SUN AND JIN! CLAIRE AND CHARLIE! SHANNON AND SAYID!
SAWYER AND JULIET!

- Jack and Kate finally said "I LOVE YOU".
JATE IS END GAME SUCKEEERZZ!! >:)
LOL, I love it.

- I cried pretty much in every fucking scene where we got a glimpse of old times, so yeah, I'm a fan.

- OH OH I FORGOT!
IT ENDED WITH JACK'S EYE CLOSING!
I knew it from the very beginning and seeing that was like coming home from a long journey ♥

I'll find more stuff to talk about tomorrow, but I gotta read what you guys wrote about it! THOSE POSTS TEASED ME ALL DAY!

I'm so paranoid I double checked the lj-cut code. I don't want to spoil anyone for a year at least.

lol. I laughed because I hated both Jate and Suliet. So of course it ended with them together. But overall I have really mixed feelings about the finale. I loved all the on Island stuff, but the limbo/purgatory stuff... well, I just wasn't sold on it.

But you know, both were obvious the first time they happened.
My feelings are mixed as well, but it's not as bad as I expected. I really like it and I'm 100% content.

In my mind, Sawyer and Kate get off the Island and eventually end up together. And then Suliet and Jate have a really awkward dinner together in the afterlife.

Ha, I figured you'd feel that way, but I really loved how the alt-universe turned out!

And, yeah, I loved that we got to see all these reunions/flashes to the past. It was just a beautiful way to end the show.

Although I will LOL 4ever to the heaven part, I'm not disappointed at all. This was the ending I wanted to see for Jack and it happened, I'm thankful that he was the hero at the end of all this ♥

And YES. I'm so, so glad Jack got to be the hero and maybe more that anything, he ended up being a LIKABLE hero. Who would've thought that would happen?

I was never a big fan of uberly paranormal stuff in Lost, but then again it has always been faith vs. science, so yeah, it made a point there AGAIN.

I WOULD! I KNEW JACK WOULD ROCK THE BOAT! HE IS AWESOME! Plus he cried like a baby, it was music to my ears... Oh Jack, I love you so much!

Yeah, I can see it now. And I know that this episode will end up being one of my favourites after some time. It's just so fresh and out of place at the moment, but it'll mean much more after a while.

Neden bazı insanları hayatta bıraktılar bilmiyorum, herkesi öldürselerdi bence daha anlamlı olacaktı. VE SONUNDA ADADAN KİMSE KURTULAMADI! şeklinde. Nasılsa ada batsa da çıksa da o alterna kısım olacaktı, ne gerek vardı açık uç bırakmaya?

Ben şöyle yorumladım;
Bu ada bir halt değil. Zamanında bir grup insan bu adaya düştü (düşe düşe bu adaya düştü yani!) sonra hepsi tapır tapır öldüler, ve aynen senin dediğin gibi arafta buluştular.
Yazarlar 6 sene boyunca bas bas bağırdı "bu ada dizisi değil, karakter dizisi gıy gıy gıy" diye, LOL gayet güzel verdiler karakterleri, hepsi öldü cennete gitti--hatta yarısının öldüğünü bile göremedik.
Tek cevap var o da: ada sihirliydi, herkes öldü, the end.

İki zaman olayı yaptıktan sonra araf daha bir mantıklı gelmeye başladı.

I wonder if I'm the only one who ships Jack/Sawyer... in my capacity as a non-watcher, non-fan of the show. I checked out sometime before Charlie's death and I haven't looked back since. What I've read of the finale sadly doesn't make me regret my decision. There seems to be a pattern in series finales to pull a deus ex and reveal nothing - BSG did it and now Lost is following suit.

There were a lot of good Jack/Sawyer moments. (well, not so much, but my mind was playing games on me!)
But seriously, there was nothing better to do in Lost's case, they've gone way too deep with ~paranormal stuff in previous 2-3 seasons.

There might have been... if the writers hadn't admitted as early as Season 1 that they didn't have a clue what they were doing. I was a little more disappointed in the case of BSG because they had just spent four season deconstructing religious development and the process by which religions are created, but that's neither here nor there. I think to like Lost you had to accept the supernatural elements and roll with the plot twists. I failed. But I still enjoy the fic ;)

1) If they all died how come they managed to take off with the plane?

Jack'in babası açıkladı zaten; herkes bir şekilde öldü, kimisi adada (shannon, boone, sayid, etc.), kimisi adadan kurtulduktan yıllar sonra (kate, sawyer,vs.), kimisi YÜZYILLAR SONRA (hurley ve Ben linus), ama hepsi ruhani bir şekilde bağlılardı, hayatlarının en önemli zamanlarını beraber geçirdikleri için araflarını ona göre kurdu ruhları, mahşerde buluştular kısaca.

2) at some point, yes, everybody dies.

3) Sun and Jin's baby de öldü, SHE IS A HUMAN AFTER ALL. Ama mesela arafta hala Sun'ın karnında falan. Arafa onların ideal universe'i.

JACK WAS THE HERO, I FUCKING LOVE IT.

Kate adadan kurtulduktan sonra eceliyle öldü işte. O buluştukları evrende zaman yok.

Bazıları "NE YANİ, EN BAŞTA ÇARPTIKLARINDA BUNLAR ÖLMÜŞ MÜYDÜ!" falan diyor, yok öyle bir şey. Yaşadılar everything.
