Reading about writing.

I'm doing it again. I'm reading about writing, instead of actually writing. But it's okay, because I've written almost 10k in a week, which is pretty awesome in regard to my latest lack of inspiration!

So my point is, even though I've never read anything by Timothy Hallinan, he is kind of my hero now. His ideas and suggestions about writing--not only writing, but finishing your novel--are absolutely delightful.

I know and practice not all, but most of them, but the important thing here is: while I'm reading what he write about writing I have this sense of approval for my own writing style :) It's been a long time since I felt this way, so all of my writer friends, check out this page: Finish Your Novel

I'm pretty sure you'll all be inspired to write more after you are done with reading that.

Can I just say that it totally made me smile to read the "Dread Middle" part?! Because my biggest problem is writing that middle part between beginning to end to make the book thick enough to be a novel!

YES! I know, right? beginning is always exciting and tralalla, but middle is blah! every.single.time.
