alison90 gave me orange, happy, mother, love, trust.
Orange: It's hands down my favourite color. It's so happy, bright and fresh. Orange is also very special because it was the official color of a planet I created for my first original story: Luplex :)
Happy: I'm usually a very happy and upbeat person. I rarely pout. Any random little thing can make me happy very easily! I know several people who told me my smile was contagious, that they cannot help but smile themselves when I smile. It's one of the nicest things I heard about myself :)
Mother: I'm extremely devoted to my mother. When I was a little kid I would cry my eyes out if mom was going somewhere for a couple of days. It was so intense that my grandma keeps telling the same story: me and my brother hugging a piece of mom's clothing and cry ourselves to sleep! That's why almost everyone in my family were shocked that I was okay with leaving my mom behind for college.
I think that my devotion is most probably because my mom is the one who holds everyone and everything together in the family. She's good with everything: money, doctor's appointments, schools, secrets, fights... She thought me how important it is to be responsible for both myself and everyone around me and that is the main reason why I was quite succesful at school and now at work.
And I'm slowly becoming a copy of my mom. I'm trying not be extremely controlling, but if you have such a lazy brother and father like mine, it's impossible not to boss around! LOL!
Love: For me, it's so easy to love someone. I remember saying "I love you." to the guy I dated in high school (and we dated only for 2 weeks), because he made me laugh so hard. I don't think it's a big deal to say "I love you" to someone. It comes really easily to me.
That's mainly because me and my bffawakencordy use it all the time. If we don't sayw "ilu" to each other for a long time, then there's something wrong either with one or both of us. Plus, my mom always tells us how much she loves me and my brother, so it's something I hear all the time which is awesome.
But although I can say those three words very easily, I haven't found my significant other yet. Shame, shame, shame...
Trust: Now that is a lot harder than love. I don't usually trust people and don't share my life very easily. Love and trust are two very different thing for me. I haven't been seriously betrayed by someone in my life (thank god), but as I grow up, I become a more secretive person.
Well, I kind of contradict myself by keeping this online journal and mostly making public entries about my life, but still, there are more to me than meets the eye!

Aw, that's such a lovely story about you and your mom! It was more the other way with me and my sister and our mom. She freaked wen we went somewhere.
I definitely agree about love and trust. I know people see trust is an element of love and it IS, but . . . still, loving someone doesn't mean I trust them, not with everything.

If you trust someone it's a lot easier to love that person, but love is just not as logical as trust. Love can be meaningless, but trust has to be supported by some solid... facts about a person. Love definitely doesn't need a reason to happen :)
