What is Skins?
Just because I don't want to work today, I'll make a Skins intro post. It will be extremely biased and consist 90% of Sid/Cassie goodness, but still it's worth to take a look.
I was a total stranger before I started watching this (as you might remember from my previous "I want to watch Skins but wth is that about? entry) but as it went on it won me over :)

sunshinefun27, so I don't take any credit on that part :) But beware, this is going to be very image heavy! I suggest you wait until the whole page loads and then go on with reading.
This picspam can be spoilerish at times, but just so you know there aren't any "OMG! WHY DID YOU TELL ME THAT!?" moments in season one, except a part of the season 1 finale which I won't reveal, therefore I'll feel free to spoil you on the insights of the relationships. I promise I'll leave some stuff to watch, but there are a total of 9 episodes in season 1, so not much to talk without giving away some stuff.
Let's begin:
Although the first episode belongs to Tony -- which is a common style in this show. Every episode mainly belongs to one character. -- I'll follow my heart and begin with Sid.
This is Sid! :D ♥ He's your typical underdog bff who is actually the cutest and the most thoughtful one in the group. He rarely takes off his beanie and glasses. He is a virgin (apparently that's his biggest flaw throughout the whole season) and he is almost always overshadowed by Tony.
But he is CUUUTEE!! ♥ (and he can sing!!!)
And this is Tony. He is the "hot guy" in the group. He has pretty much everything. He is smart, evil, popular among boys and girls, he can dance, he can sing, he can kiss, he can fuck, he can walk, he can talk and still all those stuff is not enough for him.
He calls his girlfriend Michelle "nips" because he thinks her nipples are weird.
This is Michelle, aka "Nips". She is the hottest girl in the group but not as bright as Tony. She is extremely insecure about her relationship with Tony, but she is in love, so...
Sid is madly in love with Michelle (typical) and both Michelle and Tony (and everyone else) knows this, so it usually leads to some weird and awkward conversations/situations between the three.
and example for the awkwardness:

This is Maxxie ♥ He is gay, he can dance (and god, he is good), he can draw and he cares so much about Anwar: his bff.
This is Anwar and he is a slumdog millionaire.
...
No, he is not. He is always excited and happy, he is a Muslim and this automatically makes him a hypocrite in all those sex & drugs, but does he care? Nope.
He is a happy boy ♥
This is Chris. He is Merlin's bff.
...
No, he is not.
(I promise this was the last one LOL!)
He is a typical junkie and the problem kid of the group. All he thinks about is sex, drugs, parties and his psychology teacher Angie.
Here is Angie for you:
Apparently she is not very innocent after all >:)
This is Jal. She usually disapproves everything Tony does, but she is a very good friend for everyone in the group.
Her super bff powers all belong to Michelle though. Jal plays the clarinet and comes from a "musical" family.
This is Effy. Tony's little sister. She doesn't talk too much. As you can see, she is stunning with her big blue eyes. Tony and Effy is a perfect team when it comes to sneaking out of the house in the middle of the night. They cover for each other pretty well. Effy is probably the only person Tony really loves in the world.
Love ♥
This is Cassie! ♥ She is strange and she has a serious eating disorder (and a bunch of other mental problems but she isn't crazy if you know what I mean) BUT SHE IS AMAZING! She almost always starts her sentences with an angelic "Oh, wow..." and she captures your heart right from the first scene!
She is such a special soul, I love her ♥
Look at her! Isn't she lovely? ♥
Now that you saw everyone I want to go on with my objecy of affection: Cassie/Sid!
Cassie and Sid's love story starts from the very first episode. Sid intrigues her and Cassie doesn't hold back anything she feels. On the other hand Sid also treats her like a fragile doll, because most of the times he doesn't know what to do with her and himself :))
Aw! My heart just melts ♥ They are so natural (mostly awkward but cute!) and sincere, I can't help but love their relationship.
Things go really fast in this show considering they squeeze a whole season into 9-10 episodes. When things go downhill and gets complicated way too much to handle;
Sid gets confused, embarassed and hopeless:
And usually he is the one who gets into trouble for things he didn't do:
Sid is not a bright student, AT ALL. And he is as weird (and cute!) as Cassie.
He is clueless and confused!
And when it comes to Cassie...
She is beautiful ♥ but mostly sad, although she never shows it.
She loves Sid so much, but stupid boy cannot acknowledge the feelings so soon... *sigh*
Although Cassie is usually calm and quiet about how Sid is so confused and blind about what's going on between them, she can't stand being hurt and fooled. She just wants him to see what's in front of him!
And when Sid can't take it anymore, he punches Tony... and slaps...
But no matter what, Sid is somehow always there for Cassie, right from the start ♥
They fight, they scream, they cry and sometimes leave each other all alone, but when they hold hands, everything's okay :) ♥
Yes, this is basically what I know and love about Skins. If you like what you saw and want to see more, watch it! :D
Finally, Here is something I'll be pushing to everyone in the next few days:
Sid singing Wild World in the season 1 finale:
His voice is just so... average but lovely! A perfect fit for the song...
