Sliding House!

This is amazing ♥

'In the winter we will have the roof pulled over to keep up warm,' Mr Russell, 48, said.

'But on a summer evening it is a magical experience to be able to pull the roof back and sit in the sunshine.'

me too me too! if only I had crazy amount of money that would probably be the first thing I'd build for myself!
you're welcome :D I love finding interesting stuff like these..

Well I don't know. I think I'd want to build an underground house first. Those things are cool!

[identity profile] thelake.livejournal.com 2009-04-10 06:44 am (UTC)(link)
I've read about underground houses a couple of days ago and it was astonishing to see how it's actually very possible to live underground! and it's a lot cheaper and warmer too! haha =))

but again I would miss the sunshine like crazy!

[identity profile] jenniferkaos.livejournal.com 2009-04-18 01:23 am (UTC)(link)
It's not like you have to stay forever down in your underground home. You can come up into the sunshine every now and then. Haha! Plus there's those lights that fake sunshine. :DD

Oh, wow, I'd love that for sunny days! Is the roof covered in glass? I couldn't tell.

[identity profile] thelake.livejournal.com 2009-04-10 05:45 am (UTC)(link)
yesss! the inner house (whatever that means!) is completely made of glass windows.. so amazing..

[identity profile] katayla.livejournal.com 2009-04-10 06:39 am (UTC)(link)
That's so cool! I'd want to keep it open even during the rain. Wouldn't it be fun to watch it fall on the roof?

[identity profile] thelake.livejournal.com 2009-04-10 06:42 am (UTC)(link)
YES I SAID THE EXACT SAME THING! ♥ that would be so amazing to watch the rain fall from a glass house.. ah... this shoul be written into a fic or something!

[identity profile] katayla.livejournal.com 2009-04-10 06:46 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, it should! I'd love to see that!
