I DIDN'T! It was a complete surprise. I mean, they're like polar opposites. I would've never guessed... apparently most people saw it coming, though. I wasn't paying attention to the hints enough!

I think it was discussed in the community, but POOR JAMIE!!

There's a LOT of exposition, but I guess that's needed. Maybe it'll calm down as I get further into the book.
